Methodology: 

Getting students to communicate effectively and talk is one of the most difficult tasks confronting any language teacher. This course aims to empower teachers and provide the necessary communication skills and methodologies to effectively utilize in their classrooms. Through exploring various techniques, participants will gain confidence in communication and learn simple, practical strategies for enhancing their teaching approaches. This course is appropriate for English and Language teachers who want to enrich their teaching practice to motivate students to communicate and enhance their own communication skills within the classroom.

Objectives: 

The course aims at providing the participants with opportunities to refresh their methodology as well as share ideas on teaching practice and gain confidence in their own teaching methodology. As a result of attending this course, the participants will feel more knowledgeable and confident in their daily teaching once all the activities are directed to motivate students to communicate.

• Duration: Monday - Friday from 9.00 am to 1 pm every day (afternoon free for cultural activities)

• The importance of communication when learning a foreign language;

• Peer interaction and how to implement it;

• Task-Based activities and the interactive classroom;

• Addressing Motivation and confidence: the use of games. 

WEDNESDAY

• An insight into Interpersonal communication; 

• Intercultural learning;

• Communication with Films and Songs;

• Workshop. 

THURSDAY

• Exploring literature;

• Cooperative storytelling;

• Field Project.

FRIDAY

• Exploring literature;

• Field Project.
